Introduction

Questions about the universe
What is the universe?
Where did it come from, and how does it work?
These are the questions that have always been troubling scientists.
multiverse in hinduism
Scientific discoveries over the last 100 years.
From time to time scientists keep uncovering the mysteries of the universe and keep giving new theories about the universe. Today scientists believe in a parallel universe, believe in time dilation, and believe in multidimensions. Scientists believe that according to string theory, there are 11 dimensions in the universe. Scientists also believe that the speed of time is different everywhere in the universe, and all these discoveries have been made by scientists only in the last 100 years.

Connection between modern science and Sanatan Dharma

But  if I tell you that as ancient as our Sanatan Dharma is, its science is as modern? Those things about the universe have already been told in ancient Hindu scriptures, which science is understanding today. We consider those things told in ancient scriptures as stories of mythology only, but the truth is that the things told in our scriptures do not contain the qualities and mysteries of the universe. The mysteries that are hidden, which science is revealing today, have already been solved in our Hindu religion long ago.

String theory and its 11 dimensions  String theory has been becoming very popular over the last few decades. String theory has explained 11 dimensions of the universe.

Hindu scriptures mentioning 64 dimensions
But in Sanatan Dharma, 64 dimensions are mentioned in the universe. This concept of dimension may be new for science, but it had already been mentioned in Hindu religion thousands of years ago. Today, there are many such concepts of science that match our Sanatan Dharma. In this article, I am going to share some such stories with you, knowing that you will feel proud of your culture that you knew when the theory of the parallel universe was given for the first time.
Discovery by Professor Everett in 1954
In fact, for the first time in the year 1954, a professor named U. Everest told the world that there is another world just like ours that adjusts with us. These are different worlds, even though they are not visible to us, but they live together on the scale we live together.
References to parallel universes in Hindu Dharma.
If we look at it, it has not even been 100 years since this theory was given, but if I say that Hindu writers had given the theory of the parallel universe thousands of years ago, then what would you think? If you are not believing me, then listen to this story once.

Ramayana and Parallel Universe

This story is from the Ramayana. Many decades had passed since the war between Lord Shri Ram and Ravana ended. Maryada Purshottam Shri Ram ruled for many years and established Ram Rajya all around. We all know that Lord Vishnu had incarnated on earth in the form of Ram, that is, a human being. Now, like a common man, he had to end his life and leave for Vaikunth. But he knew that his biggest devotee, Hanuman, would not let him go from the earth. To save Shri Ram ji, he can fight even with Yamraj himself. It was very important for Hanuman ji to know that he is equal to a small part of this universe, and in reality, the things of the world never end; rather, they keep moving in a cycle. This is important. To understand the matter, Shri Ram Ji made a very clever plan for Leela.
Story of Shri Ram’s ring and multiple realities
He created a small crack inside the ground and threw his ring inside it. After this, he called Hanuman Ji and asked Hanuman Ji to take out the ring. Hanuman Ji immediately reduced his size and entered inside the crack. He started going deeper and deeper into the ground, and finally he reached the lowest part of the earth, and he met Vasuki Ji, the god of Naglok. Hanuman Ji bowed to Vasuki and told him that my Lord Shri Ram's ring has fallen down here. Have you seen it anywhere? On hearing this, Vasuki's first question was, Which Lord Ram are you talking about? Hanuman Ji was very surprised to hear this, and before he could give any answer, Vasuki Ji pointed towards a big mountain in the distance and said that you will find your Shri Ram Ji's ring there. On hearing this, Hanuman Ji secretly started going towards that mountain, but when he reached there, he saw that this mountain It was completely made of gold rings, the same rings that belonged to Shri Ram. Now Hanuman ji was even more surprised. He started thinking that only one ring of Shri Ram had fallen down; then how did this mountain of rings reach here? He asked Vasuki ji, standing nearby, which one of all these rings is Shri Ram's ring.
Vasuki’s explanation of infinite Ramayanas across universes
Then Vasuki ji finally told Hanuman ji the truth. He said that in every Treta Yuga of the universe, Lord Shri Ram creates a crack and throws his ring here in the Pata Lok so that you can know that your Lord Shri Ram is not the only Shri Ram in this infinite universe, but just like this, in the other world also Lord Shri Ram is creating a similar leela. This story, in a way, confirms the parallel universe told by humans. It is not only Lord Ram who created a leela to show the parallel universe.

krishna multiverse in hinduism

A similar story of Shri Krishna is also very popular, in which it has been talked about in the multiverse. Once, Brahma ji reached Dwarka to meet Shri Krishna. Some gatekeepers were standing in front of Shri Krishna's palace. Brahma told those gatekeepers to go and tell Krishna that Brahma had come to meet him. The doorkeepers then conveyed Krishna's message that there are multiple Brahmas, each overseeing their own respective universe. When Brahma went inside and asked Krishna about this, while explaining to him, Shri Krishna said that I take care of countless universes, and each universe has its own Brahma. Now, this story also explains the theory of a parallel universe where many worlds exist simultaneously. Now, we have talked a lot about parallel universes.

Time Dilation Theory

There is another scientific concept in our Hindu mythology that is explained through a story. This concept is of time dilation.
Concept explained in the movie Interstellar
Time dilation is a very interesting theory, which is very well shown in a Hollywood movie called Interstellar. In this movie, some astronauts go into space from the earth so that they can find a planet on which humans can live. They have to reach Planet Miller, which is present near a big black hole. They had received information that this planet may have a perfect environment for humans to live in, but the problem is that one hour spent on this planet is like an hour spent on Earth. It is equal to 7 years that have passed. The reason for this was that Miller's planet was very close to the black hole. Due to this, the gravity of the black hole was directly affecting the time of the planet. Due to which time was running very slow on the planet. Now the astronauts go to that planet and make a plan to leave from there as soon as possible, but due to an accident, they get a few hours late in leaving from there. When they reach their spaceship, they realize that even though it has been only two hours since they left, 23 years have passed on Earth. Science behind gravity affecting time. This was a very good example of time dilation in this movie. Actually, according to science, gravity affects time. Where there is more gravity, the speed of time is slow, and where there is very little gravity, time runs at a very fast speed. According to science, the speed of time is different everywhere in the universe. Somewhere in the universe, time is slow. If time is moving at a speed, then somewhere the speed of time is very fast.

Revati and Time Dilation in Hindu Dharm.

Now, if you are a Hindu, then there is a popular story in it in which a similar incident had happened. The king was considered to be a very powerful king at one time. He was very fond of his daughter Revati. When Revati reached marriageable age, the king became very worried. He feared that in this timeline, Revati may never get a good husband. To solve this problem, he took Revati to Brahma Lok to meet Lord Brahma. The king told this problem to Brahma Ji. Brahma Ji started laughing loudly after listening to him. He said that on the earth from where you have just come, there is no one who knows you because the amount of time you have spent in Brahma Lok, the same amount of time has passed on earth. Revati and King were not able to understand these words of Lord Brahma; then Brahma Ji said that the speed of time is different in every Lok. Till Revati and King Brahma were together, by that time 27 chaturyugas had ended on earth, that is, about 113 million years. Now it is obvious that after so much time neither Revati's family nor the kingdom of the king was there. Lord Brahma suggests he go to earth soon and get Revati married to Balram, brother of Shri Krishna. If you stay in Brahmlok, then this time on earth will also pass very fast. This story directly proves the theory of time dilation, the same time dilation about which Albert Einstein had told the world for the first time.

Conclusion

Friends, this is not a debate of science versus religion. My only purpose in making this article is that you should know how ancient and scientific our Hindu religion is. If you liked this article, then definitely share it.
